Membership is not the rental price
Your membership pays for access to RentRush's posting and booking tools. It does not pay for an item rental, reserve inventory, or include a deposit. Rental prices, payment methods, deposits, and pickup terms are agreed directly with the owner.
Unlike a per-booking platform fee, your membership charge is separate from the amount you agree to pay the owner. A membership is not automatically cheaper: compare membership, item rental, transport, deposits, and any agreed charges for your own plans.
Check local availability before committing
RentRush is an early-stage marketplace. Inventory depends on your ZIP code, dates, and what neighbors have listed; a paid membership does not guarantee a suitable item or a booking.
Public guides and rental previews help you explore. Confirm availability and terms with the owner before making plans around an item.
Clear billing, separate responsibilities
Membership checkout is processed by Stripe. RentRush does not store your full card number. Basic is not a recurring subscription; PRO renews monthly until canceled. Lifetime means the supported lifetime of the service, not an unconditional forever guarantee.
Deposits, rental refunds, and damage claims are handled directly between members. Membership does not include insurance, escrow, a guaranteed rental refund, or reimbursement for loss or damage.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account to join?
Choose your membership and complete checkout first, then create your account with the same email. Your membership activates as soon as the account is created.
Can I cancel my PRO subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your settings and your access continues until the end of the billing period.
What does Basic include, and for how long?
Basic is $1.99 one-time and unlocks messaging, booking, and posting for one month. Browsing stays available after that month. Each Basic listing is $0.99 and each RentRush Ad is $4.99.
Is Lifetime really a one-time payment?
Yes. Pay $49 once for PRO features for the supported lifetime of the RentRush service, with no monthly renewals.
How do rental payments and deposits work?
Owner and renter arrange rental payment and any deposit directly, such as cash or Venmo. RentRush takes no commission on that payment, does not hold deposits, and does not insure or guarantee items. Agree on damage terms in writing before the handoff; see the safety guide for a checklist.
What if there aren't many listings in my area yet?
RentRush is still small, and coverage varies by ZIP. Browse first to see what is near you before you pay. Membership does not guarantee that a matching item will be available.
Is my membership payment secure?
Membership payments are handled by Stripe. RentRush never stores your card details.
